Description |
---|
This is a 1999 GMC Suburban SLT 4WD K1500. It has been my daily driver for about 3 years now and I am just selling it to get a smaller more efficient vehicle for my commutes. I bought it from my dad who had it for a few years and had a GearHead 5.7l, 350 engine put into it. This was in 2011 at 166000m, so that puts about 35,000mi on this current engine. It uses a bit of oil between oil changes but seems to drive without problems.
I had a new fuel pump put on it this year. I got some new gas lines run. It has a new serpentine belt, new belt tensioner, new rotor button and distributor cap, and new battery. It has leather seats, 3rd row seating, and AM/FM/CD radio. There is a CB Radio included and mounted in the floor, but it may need tuned properly or something. I don’t use it at all. There is Heat and Air, but I am not certain the Air Conditioning works. I'm not sure if it's leaked out or if it’s a compressor issue. Heat has always worked well for me. It comes with a Safari style roof rack, a tow package, trailer brake box, and I bought a winch for it that I have not installed yet. It's has beefy tires and the 4WD has worked perfectly for the time that I have owned and used it. I have never had any problems switching between the various 4WD modes.
This would be a great outdoors vehicle. The roof rack is made of sturdy metal bar. You can take it off if you don’t want to use it. But you can also put a piece of plywood up on it, like a floor, and that could be a perfect place to sit and scope out your favorite hunting spot. I was going to mount the winch before I decided to sell this burb, but I will leave it up to the buyer, in case they want to put it in a different location
I’ll answer any questions you might have. I am not a mechanic by any means, so I’ll tell you what I know for the time that I’ve had ownership of this truck. There are no guarantees and warranties I can offer you, but it might make someone a good vehicle for hauling, camping, or hunting. Thanks for looking
I also have this listed on Craigslist and reserve the right to end this auction should it sell locally.
