This 1967 Camaro is a rebirthed classic Muscle Car complete with modern parts from top to bottom. This high end build seamlessly weaves the best available modern driveline, suspension, brake and cosmetic parts to create a fast, practical, and expertly finished ride.
The body of the car was restored in a rotisserie manner and features solid metal with straight bodywork throughout. The undercarriage is coated in a body-color-dyed Rhino liner that will stand up to any undercarriage nicks and chips that may come its way. All of the glass, trim and chrome are new, as are all of the rubber on the car. The interior has sound deadening material throughout as well and is as quiet as old Muscle Cars get. The paint has been color sanded to a finish and is ready to show.
The custom interior features high quality leather combined with clean styling to create a cockpit you could hang out in all day. The seats feature a French stitched pattern that you'll recognize throughout the interior. The door panels are one-off as is the rear package tray and custom center console. Don't miss the headliner - it's a one piece molded unit that is covered just like the rest of the cockpit. Follow the custom leather covered dash South, and you'll find a set of retro looking Classic Instruments gauges, featuring a super trick integrated tachometer. A Tiger Cage runs discreetly throughout the cockpit, providing additional strength to the chassis while managing to stay out driver's way. It's also setup to run a Simpson harness off the removable cross bar.
The Camaro has a rocking stereo system complete with a Kenwood head unit, Focal component speakers, Focal amps, & a Focal 10" sub. The doors are set up with power locks, and keeping the cabin icy cold is a Vintage Air unit complete with digital controls.
Powering the Camaro is the 430 HP, 6.2 liter LS3 as found in the Chevy Corvette. This one was brand new from GM and was set up on this project as the E-Rod package, which comes complete from the Corvette Oil pan to the computer and ignition system. The E-Rod is a 50 state emissions compliant set up and is the perfect balance of high performance and reliability. The motor has tremendous airflow and a very broad torque curve making it perfect for the long haul. Keeping the engine cool is a Ron Davis radiator with dual electric fans.
Engine Specs Aluminum block 10.7:1 compression ratio High-lift hydraulic roller cam L92 rectangular port heads O2 sensors and catalytic converters 0.551-inch of lift on the 2.16-inch intake valves 0.522-inch lift on the 1.59-inch exhaust valves
The rear end is a 12-bolt with 3.73 posi gears. This set up pairs nicely with the TKO 500 transmission making the car perfect for everything from around town driving, and twisty back roads to the highway.
The suspension consists of a complete Ride Tech kit with front upper and lower control-arms, a rear 4-link, and 4 single adjustable coil-overs. The front suspension was also built with the TruTurn set up which not also allows for a 10" front wheel, but also corrects bump steer. Ride Tech dropped spindles, and the Musclebar beefy front sway bar. For outright handling, and everyday reliability, this suspension setup is the bee's knees. Bringing the car to quick stop is are Baer 6-Piston front calipers with 14" rotors with Baer SS4 calipers in the back with 12" rotors. Aiding in the stopping power is a Hydroboost setup that increases the stopping power without the use of engine vacuum.
For the Muscle Car enthusiast looking for a serious Pro Touring car with country club manners, this 1967 Camaro will make that happen.
