Description

This is a NO RESERVE auction for a 2002 stage 3 B5 Audi S4. Do Not Bid unless you intend to Buy! Please read the entire listing before placing a bid! Also read the answer question section in case someone has already asked your question. I am selling this car because I have 3 B5 S4s! 2 Stage 3 and one stage 1.(see explanation below)These cars are ridiculously fast and a great value / bang for the buck. This S4 has the following modifications:

K04 Genuine Borg Warner turbos750 cc Bosch injectors2.0 coilpac upgrade / ICM delete3 bar fuel pressure regulatorStage 3 Custom tune for 91 octane (Optional E85 Tune available)SACC turbo back exhaust (the loud version)2.7t engine with 110k milesHitachi 85mm Mass air flow sensor in larger diameter cold air intakeECS Tunning vent boost gaugeBoss Audio touch screen head unit with BT streaming audioRockford Fosgate speakers in place of stock speakersDaytona Grey pearl Trim and painted B7 Audi wheelsCarbon fiber wrapped interior trimSlotted / drilled front brake calipers
Maintenance that has been done to the car:
New power steering pumpNew power steering rackNew Timing beltNew water pumpNew front brake padsNew tires all aroundNew half shaftsNew fuel pumpNew NKG BKR7E spark plugs
The car has less than 1000 miles with all the modifications and maintenance that I have done to it. If I didn't have 3 B5 S4s, I'd keep it! When I bought this car it had the dreaded Chinese K04 turbos on stock ECU. I did not know they were not Borg Warner and so went ahead and upgraded to stage 3 fueling and software. Needless to say, I had nothing but trouble with over boost conditions and not long after the upgrade one of the turbos blew. I went ahead and replaced the turbos with genuine Borg Warner K04 turbos. The engine had low oil pressure, I suspected engine damage due to the over boosting Chinese garbage so I decided to replace it with a good used 2.7t engine. All this was happening over a 5 months time frame and in the meantime, a friend of mine needed to sell his Stage 3 S4 due to financial issues and I decided to buy it. Once this car was all fixed up, I decided to sell it and keep my friends S4.Here is my assessment of how the car is now: The engine and transmission are in great shape and it runs excellent. Its scary fast! The paint is in good shape, there are a few chips but nothing major. The interior is in good shape. There is a small tear in the driver side bottom seat and bolster but nothing real bad. The windshield has some tiny chips but no cracks. The Grey / Black is a great color combination. Its a great looking car!
Things that I would do to the car had I decided to keep it:The battery should probably be replaced before it gets too cold out there. It starts fine, but its a few years old and I wouldn't chance getting stuck somewhere. The clutch is stock. It works fine, but I was planning to replace it with a South-bend clutch once it wore out. As long as you drive like an adult it will last a good while. The stereo has hands free BT capability but whoever installed it did not install a microphone. For dirt cheap and a bit of elbow grease you can have your phone calls come through the stereo and talk hands free while you drive. If you plan on tracking the car I would invest in coilsovers and an upgraded side mount intercoolers (or run race gas)
This car will make someone a very dependable high output car. Good luck and happy bidding!
