I purchased this car off of a 2 year lease with 25,000 miles on itin 2007. In the last 9 years I have driven it about 2,500 miles a year - here locally. It has been kept in a garage at night and during the day it has been parked in a covered parking deck. It has not been smoked in. I recently had it completely examined by a certified German automotive mechanic and I am unaware of any mechanical problems either from the mechanic or by driving the car myself.
It is a ten year old car- even though it has low mileage on it for the 10 years, never the less there are a few cosmetic dings and scraps on it.I have tried to show the areas: the lower right bumper with a yellow scrap; the lower right side behinds the door where I backed into my lawn tractor, a new ding that looks like a rock hit it over the left front fender. Likewise there are several other smaller areas of scratches and scuffs in the finish. HOwever, there is no rust. IN our area we do not put salt on the road in the winter. THe interior lights and all the buttons work. THe information center in the dash has a couple of rows of pixels that are going out. I had a quote to replace the module pixels for about $300. THe air conditioning works very well. THe brakes and abs are fine, no squeaking or jitteriness when the brakes are applies. THe Audi runs true without left or right pulling. It is a manual 6? Speed and shifts well, it along with the 4 wheel drive is great fun to drive. THe car has not been abused or raced or wrecked or repainted or any body work done. THe fastest that I have ever driven it was 90 miles an hour after our roads were closed when Tuscaloosa was devastated by the tornado in 2011.
THe interior on the drivers side seat is scuffed from entering and exiting the driver's side seat. THe passenger side seat is in excellent condition, and in fact the driver's side seat is really in good condition. THe back seat- tiny as it is- is in good condition. I have all the original floor mats, the cargo net, the small eye screen so that you are not able to look into the trunk.
THe tires are probably good for 3,000-5,000 miles more. I have always used mobile 1 for the oil replacement, changing the oil about once per year.
THe stereo has an indash CD playe, fm am satellite radio and it has a 4-5 cd changer behind the drivers side. THey all work well. IT is the Audi system.
THe small size rear spare is in the back- never has been used. THe jack and wrenches are intact.
It is a 10 year old low mileage Fun to drive, well maintaine, well designed sports car. IT is in better than average condition for the age on the car. I have tried to be forthcoming about any issues with the car. I would buy it for the asking price and feel like I was fairly treated and that the car was a fairly priced.
