I have a restoration shop and bought this car to restore. Unfortunately. have so many projects and customers that I realize I will not be able to get to this car in the foreseeable future. However. if it does not sell I will put it aside until I can begin to build a ProTouring car out of it. This car should be put back to original. It is a great color combination "Silver Moondust Mettalic" as verified by the original paint label in the glove box. The options list is attached and it is two pages long! The interior is an Ox Blood color. It has the largest engine these came with 400CID Chevrolet with a factory 4 barrell. The troughs have surface rust. but no pitting that extends through the surface (no holes). What would seem to be a drawback is a plus with this car. There is no paint. It has been stripped down to the fiberglass. It would have to of been repainted. And now you know what you are dealing with. It is the secrets hidden under paint that can make a $5000 quote turn into a $15000 job. There is some obvious damage to the front fenders. The car was put in neutral by the previous owners grandson and allowed to roll into the garage wall with no bumper installed. Other than the front fender the body is very straight and solid. OPTIONSThese are the options listed with the original paperwork for this car. Please. see attached image. This is only a portion of them. See the images for the two pages of options listed. 400CID Chevrolet V8. Air Conditioner. Automatic Transmission (TH400 I believe). Power Steering. Front Disc. Tilt Steering Wheel. Front and Rear Sway Bars. Dual Exhaust. /p> ENGINE The engine starts and runs. It is a 400CID Chevrolet V8. There is a 4 barrell Quadrajet and manifold. The exhaust consist of cast manifolds coupled to dual exhaust. It does need a tune up. I have only ran it for a few minutes to insure it is operational. TRANSMISSIONIt has a TH400 transmission. The shifter is attached and operates properly. However. the clutch plates are worn out. It will not move in reverse or forward. When I first got it you could rev it and get it to move slightly in reverse. which is why I state the problem as the clutches. I have not gone into the box. The fluid is clean. but that is probably from having been changed. I did not. ELECTRIALI have not tested any of the electrical components. However. they are all present and none of the wiring has been bastardized. See the list of Options in the images to see what all is included. BRAKES The brakes are operational. We moved the car around some with a tow car and tested them. The fronts are disc and the brakes are servo assist. SUSPENSIONThe suspension is coil front and leaf rear. The rear has a panhard rod and optional track bars. The bushings all need replacing and I am sure shocks as well. The frame is in excellent condition. The troughs have surface rust. but look solid. There are no holes visible. TIRES AND WHEELSIt has steel wheels. There are no hubcaps. The tires are brand new. When I got the car some of the tires would not hold air so I just bought a new set. They have no miles. other than rolling around the shop. SHIPPING I have a loading dock and can assist with loading. I can also help you locate a shipping company if you need.
