Description

For sale here as you can see is a very well maintained 99 Camaro. It is a 5-speed manual. with T-Tops (that have never leaked as long as ive owned it). nbsp;and has 150438 miles as I am typing this. I am driving it daily. so mileage will go up some. I have owned it for two years and have replaced alot of parts on it. It is in better shape now than when I bought it. I have over 5000 dollars in the car. Below I will list everything I can remember that has been fixed or replaced. I am selling it because I am getting a new company car in April. between my significant other and I we have four vehicles and she can't drive a manual. So I've decided that its time for my Camaro to get a new owner. The car has a new battery this winter. two brand new front tires (the rear have about 30% life left and are still legal)and the rear brakes have been replaced this past winter as well. It has a new Ignition control unit with all new coils replaced last year. New spark plugs and wires replaced prior to that. It was throwing an engine code sometime last year and I was told the catalytic converter needed to be replaced. so I had that replaced; it has a new catylitic converter and passes emissions. All of the oxygen sensors have been replaced as well; there were four I believe. When I first bought the car it made a slight noise which turned out to be a wheel bearing in the back. When the mechanic was fixing that. he fixed a leak in the engine which was the rear main seal. Because the transmission was apart from the engine. nbsp;I bought a new clutch kit and had him put that in as well. The plastic dash cover that cracks on this body style has been tastefully replaced with matching color carpet. Has new brighter headlights and lenses cleaned. The most common question I get about the car is "Do the T-Tops leak?". They never have at all since I have owned it. Although I have replaced quite a few parts to maintain the car. it has been very reliable and has never left me stranded or broke down. Last there is a leak in the air conditioning. it does work. This summer I would put a can of refrigerant in before a trip and it would blow nice cold a/c. however after a few days it will leak out. And the transmission has a slow leak somewhere. Once at valvoline. they told me that they thought it did but couldn't tell where it was coming from. That was about a year ago. and recently I had them check the level and they actually topped it off this month. So it is a very slow leak. it took a year before they needed to top it off. The buyer can pick up the vehicle in person or have a shipping company pick up the car. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. This is a very clean car. it gets alot of compliments and will be very nice to own and enjoy with the T-Tops off this summer! Happy bidding!
