Up for your consideration is my '86 505 turbo. I am the second owner of this car and have had it for the last six years . In that time I have put roughly 4,800 miles on it. The car has ALWAYS been garaged and never driven in winter, with the rust free body to show for it. I have had it garaged for the last two/three years or so and have not been using it; it is time for it to go to a new home. Prior to my ownership it received a new cylinder head and turbo charger, it was then parked in the former owner's garage for roughly five or six years and not used. This car comes with a few extra goodies that are not entirely easy to find the first being two additional cylinder heads, one that had been gone through by the machine shop; the second was taken off a good running engine but was not checked out . An additional intake and throttle body setup as well as exhaust manifold and spare turbo go as well; no guarantees on the extra turbo; I would have it rebuilt. Also included is a semi- complete set of super rare factory Peugeot shop manuals either the manual for the transmission or the rear diff. is missing. An extra camshaft supposedly ground by Dima Elgin in California goes with the car as well This car runs and drives; it is not currently registered but I run it up and down the street on a dealer plate to keep it exercised and going well. This car will require a new battery, it starts fine with a jump but does not hold a charge. This car will need to be removed on a trailer; it has been sitting for a little while and I make no guarantees or assumptions about simply taking off with it until it has been thoroughly gone through; that being said it got an oil change roughly three miles ago. This car is incredibly fast for a four banger, it even has a built in radar detector! The leather seats are very comfortable and the ride is quite smooth. To the best of my recollection everything including cruise control is working save for two items 1) the power antennae stopped working one day and I disconnected the motor to keep it from running; the antennae is up and radio works. 2) I cannot say if the air conditioning works, I don't use it and have never turned it on. The brakes are good all the way around save for some light surface rust on the rotors from sitting but they are cleaning up every time I take it up the road. Also to note- there is a small hole in the driver seat cushion bolster, it has not grown any; and there is a scrape just under driver door handle. there are of course various small scratches the car has won over the years of it's existence, but this is the worst. The shift knob deteriorated and I replaced it with the most aesthetically pleasing one I could find at the time. This car has been well cared for and loved very much, but it's time for it to get a new home. It has a clear title and will be sold with title and Bill of Sale. The fine print. There is a $500.00 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours of auction end, the balance to be paid in cash at pickup or through paypal. Cash is preferred. The car is to be picked up within two weeks of auction end unless prior arrangements are made; there are no warranties, guarantees nor refunds implied or given; this is a used car built in the height of the 80's and as such is no spring chicken. I reserve the right to end this auction early as it is for sale locally as well. Buyer must make all shipping arrangements. Car can be picked up any day of the week, but buyer must co-ordinate time with me, the car is along the 95 corridor with easy access to highway. DO NOT bid if you don't intend to buy!
