1985 PEUGEOT 505 TURBO DIESEL WITH A 5 SPEED MANUAL RUNS GREAT ONE FAMILY OWNED!

This is a one family owned. nbsp;1985 Peugeot turbo diesel STI sedan with 214k original miles!! This Peugeot is equipped with the 4 cylinder. nbsp;2. 5L turbo diesel motor. nbsp;a 5 speed manual transmission and rear wheel drive!!The paint is oxidized. however it is all original. never repainted and no body work ever performed! There is no rust. The body is very straight and clean. no dings. dents or creases. please see pictures. The car also has the rare European glass head lights. one has a tiny chip. please see pictures. The interior is in decent shape and is all original. The leather on all seats aside for the passengers have splits mainly on the seams. please see pictures. The carpet is in decent shape. does have some stains but no rips/tears. please see pictures. All of the gauges work great including the clock! The radio. nbsp;tape player works most of the time but is very old. so are the speakers. The windshield is in good shape with just a few small pits. nbsp;no chips and no cracks! The headliner is coming down in places and the dash has some splits/cracks. please see pictures. This Peugeot does have ac and it's all hooked up. however is not working at this point. might just need a charge. the cruise works good. The two front power windows work good. the rear and sunroof do not and the heated seats don't seem to be working. Included in the sale are the original owners manuals as well as the Dealer Directory Manual!The motor starts instantly and purrs. nbsp;just serviced. nbsp;fresh engine oil&filter service. nbsp;a fresh fuel&air filters installed. new fluid in the transmission&rear end as well as a brand new Bosh alternator!! The engine is all stock. nbsp;never turned up. nbsp;tweaked or modified in any way!! The rare 5 speed manual transmission shifts smooth. however the clutch can chatter a bit when you don't add enough throttle. The car does drip some oil. like all old diesel Peugeot's do. The tires are in good shape and all matching. GoodYear Eagle LS2. nbsp;size 195/65R15 and mounted on factory alloy rims. Please keep in mind that this is an older vehicle and is not in new condition!! Please expect normal wear and tear for a vehicle of this age and miles. this is not a brand new vehicle and it is not perfect!! If you are looking for a rare Peugeot 505 with the turbo diesel motor and the desirable 5 speed manual transmission. nbsp;than this might be the car for you!! The paint and interior are not in great shape. however the engine and transmission are great. this would make a great parts car. but than again a bit of a shame. your call.
