I'm selling my 1968 Fastback Barracuda project. which I have been working on for a few years now and it time to let her go to a new home. I have another project that I should finish first. so this is being offered for sale. This Barracuda has been totally disassembled and taken to a professional shop were it was completely media blasted inside / out and then treated to several coats of Sickens two part epoxy to seal it up. The rear body panels; i. e. quarters and tail panel have been correctly removed by drilling the spot welds. I have new AMD (Auto Metal Direct) rear quarters and AMD tail panel temporarily affixed with screws to the vehicle. so as to prevent damage and easier for transport. The car has minimal rust concentrated to the left rocker and some areas of the floor board. which I have and is included with the car - both LH/ RH Auto Metal Direct (AMD) Complete rockers and a complete one piece floor board. This makes the car rust / rot free once everything is installed. Over all the car is very solid. with both Torque boxes. Upper A-arm supports in perfect original condition with no rot or repairs. The car has an 8 point cage and has been Mini Tubed utilizing a Full S&W frame kit. The car comes with a pin on fiberglass super stock hemi hood with scoop and bolt on fiberglass deck lid . New AAR fiberglass front fenders. New AMD front lower valance. New AMD dual exhaust rear valance. New AMD trunk drops. New AMD full quarter panels. New full AMD Rocker panels. New AMD full floor panel. All new metal is from Auto Metal Direct (AMD) one of the best aftermarket body panel specialist and these parts weren't cheap. The car came equipped from the factory with a 6 cylinder engine that is long gone. I replaced the 6 cylinder K-member with a factory V8 K-member that has been powder coated any ready for any V8 engine size you desire. 273 all the way up to a 440 engine or even a Hemi (Elephant) with different special mounts. The Barracuda has front disc brakes and upgraded to the 4. 5 big bolt pattern to match the rear differential bolt pattern. The rear has been completely restored and has the following parts installed: Moser axles with 1/2'' long studs. New green axle bearings. New 10'' brake shoes & Wheel Cylinder. The third member and or center differential is the best Mopar case available "489 Case" with a Locker posi unit and 4:30 Richmond Gears and a New 1340 yoke. The entire rear has also been powder coated like the K-Member in a gloss black finish. The leaf springs are also brand new to button up the rear end. NOTE: This car does not come with an engine or transmission. The car has a clear Pennsylvania Certificate of Title in my name. The following parts come with the sale: All the glass except the front windshield. all the interior and exterior trim. window regulators. original front and rear bumpers (cores) and Dash assembly. o seats and no front grills or bezels.
