Description

Up for sale is one of the finest examples of a 1968 Barracuda. It has been restored to its original rare color combo of Matador Red exterior with the Aztec Maroon/Pearl WHite interior. There is a CD that comes with the car that has hundreds of photos of the car during its restoration process.
Details:
Exterior/Body
Car was stripped to bare metal, ront/rear glass popped, ll trim removed and repainted in original PPG Matador Red. New white tape stripe from Phoenix Graphix installed. I have pictures of how much filler remained on the body before primer went on. It was only floated enough to make it straight. NO RUST ANYWHERE. NONE. Car was in amazingly great shape. The bottom of the car was stripped to bare metal and painted satin black. I found that not many Barracudas(all 3 body styles included) had this interior/exterior color combo from the factory, o that's why I chose to restore it to stock colors.
-New tail lights, runk trim, oor handles, umpers, eatherstripping, indow moulding clips, ront and rear window gaskets. Front grille was cleaned up and polished/painted, s were the hood inserts.

I stripped the interior down to the floor pans and they were PERFECT. I stripped the bottom of the car to bare metal and found ZERO rust. All the sheetmetal on this car is original and in great shape. I have owned a restoration shop for the past 12 years and have put well over 500-600 hours in this car. This car retains it's original fender tag. It was built on Tuesday July 11th, 968, uring the LAST week of production of 1968 model year cars.
Car is located in California, F Bay Area.
