1967 SPORT FURY CONVERTIBLE 1 OF 3133 BUILT BY PLYMOUTH IN 1967This car is a great driver quality car that could be restored into a show car with ease. I would consider it a survivor type car because it is still very original. It is a rare MM1 Turbine Bronze color which was the same color created for the Chrysler Turbine cars. It did have a repaint over 30 years ago in the 1980's. It is an original 330 Horsepower 425 ft pounds oftorque383 engine with a 4 BBL carb, factory dual snorkel air cleaner, and factory dual exhaust. The car runs and drives excellent, it is a great cruiser. The body was done over 30 years ago and is showing its age. I don't see a lot of evidence of Bondo what I see is some of the welded seams where they put new metal are coning thru in a couple of spots shown in the photos, to be a show car it would need to be redone again as a driver it is fine. The interior is all original to the car and has held up well over the years. It has a factory AM/FM which was very rare in 1967 FM radio wasn't really on the map yet, as well as factory seatbelts. The top is power and goes up and down nice, the top material is original to the car as a driver its fine but for a show car it should be replaced it shows its age. You can get a new top on Ebay starting at $400. The floors look very solid even in the trunk which usually always rust over the gas tank on Mopars. The frame looks good as well from what I can see crawling around under it. There is one spot on the pass side rail which I have photos that Ibelieveto be done by an older tow truck. They usually put the chains in those small holes to tie them down it may be a tear not rust. This car runs, shifts and stops real nice it is a great deal for cheap money. It has a new fuel pump, plugs, wires and fresh oil change. You can drive it as you restore it or leave it as is drive it for a year and sell it for what you paid for it if not more. Late 1960's Mopar convertibles have been on the rise for years, Like they say about convertibles "The top goes down, the price goes up". They are good investments, and this one has a very affordable price tag. I have a clear NC title in MY name this is my own personal car.Don't snooze on this one I am pricing it to sell quick. I am running out of room and need to thin my collection.be sure to read and understand my terms of this auction below.
