Description

Tan and White Two Tone F-250. 360 V-8. Heads rebuilt. Power Steering. Power Brakes. New Alternator. New Fuel Pump.

New Brakes. Rebuilt Carb. Solid Windshield. Sliding Rear Window. 90,000 miles.

The price is $3200.

Less than 100,000.

The engine is a stock V-8 360 C I D standard operating Ford motor. So its easy to maintain and repair. Parts are readily available.

The only time it cranks is when its been sitting dry and and awaits the fuel line to prime.

Once started for the day, if not more), he doesn't need to be cranked. she fires right up.

Just hit it with the starter and it resumes running as if it were never shut off.

There's no wring wreep wrap when it starts. There's no throttle trolley pinging and predetonating at shut off.

No "character" stuff. Just standard operation like a stock motor should back in the day.

When the heads were reworked, he mechanic noted very little ring lip in the cylider; meaning, ow mileage after a recent rebuild. Probably in the eighties with low usage throughout the years.

The single barrel carb has been rebuilt.

There's lifter noisee. I've spoken to a handful of mechanics that assure me its just that. Its a big block. Its nearly 50 years old. There's going to be noise in there.

The markings on the transmission indicate a recent rebuild as well. Judging by its standard operation, erformance and reliability, 'd say recen,t but probably late eighties or nineties too.

The large stock radiator is mounted aft the stock transmission fluid cooler. There are no leaks and the fluids are clean from the rebuild.

The power steering is strong, owever the steering box needs a rework. There's some play in there, ut I've driven all over.

The front brakes are new and the right drum has been replaced. The bearings are good. The tie rod ends need work.

The exhaust is ready to change out. You can choose your custom sound. Singel stock or duel exhaust or zoomie pipes or truck towers or whatever you want.

The springs are done too. You can install low riders or build it stock or set it up high.

So this clean truck is drivable and ready for use AND ready to build into a classic or for everyday use.

Ready for you.

I can't put it in a box and send it to you. You'll have to come pick it up. If you need/want to set up shipping, 'll work with you to make arrangements to have it shipped.

Ooops!!!! Disclosure time:

This is an old truck.

OK?

It's got some rust. It needs love, ork, lbow grease, oor seals, ash work. Paint. It's got some damage too.

The right side: She took a scrape along the port bow against a brick hedge row. Its ugly. Rusty and iz-gonna-need-some-body-work,,, if yer gonna show it off at the car show.

The engine is strong and good. Its reliable. Its got a ticking in there. Could be a rocker arm. Could be a rod. I don't know, haven't had a mechanic look at it. Pretty sure all eight cylinders are firing, ut I'm not completely sure. Its been sitting a while.

Its a (almost) fifty year old Ford. It leaks a tad.

But there's NO radiator leak, o missing water and no water in the heads or the exhaust so the seals are good and strong,.... no "complicated" problems. No flittery lights in the dash. No electrical problems, ven with some cassette stereo installed (with equalizer). Blinkers, ights, igh beams, verything works good. No starter problems either.

Another thing: probably going to need to get new tires and different wheels. There's only ONE COMPANY that makes the tires for these vintage rims. I think its Firestone. Different wheels are good so you can choose what tires you want. However, he vintage look is OK and runs just as good.

So you got a good truck here. Mostly built up but needs some work and you've got a good, tandard classic.

Good luck.

Enjoy.
