Up for sale is my 1991 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA. It is a true Y84 GTA that is fully optioned for the year. Those options include: the L98 350 TPI engine, 00R4 automatic transmission, .23 gears with limited slip differential, wheel disc brakes, luminum driveshaft, ower windows, ower door locks, ower mirrors, ower antenna, river and passenger power seats, eather seats, eather steering wheel, eather shifter, qualizer radio, nd more. The car currently has an aftermarket radio installed but I also have the original radio to go with it. I am the 4th owner and have had the car just over a year. In that time I have done a slew of updates and upgrades to the car, f which I have all receipts for. They are detailed below.
The car is not without its flaws of course. All of this you can see in the pictures. It has the very common clear coat issues on the roof and rear bumper. The A/C does not work but all equipment is there. The driver's side seat is worn and has a tear in the bottom. The illumination lights for the fogs, runk release, nd defroster switches do not work (but the switches do!). The leather on the steering wheel and shift knob are also showing their age.
I have pretty much babied the car since I've had it; never raced or ragged on it. I store the car in my garage when not being driven so mileage will not likely increase much, f at all. I am looking for a good home for this car and wont sell it to someone looking for their next redneck race car. I know these cars inside and out as well as what they're worth so no low ballers or joy riders. Price is obo.
Maintenance I've done includes:
New tires
New serpentine belt
New headlights and fog lights
New tie rod ends and ball joints
Radiator flush and fill
New upper and lower radiator hoses
Brake fluid flush and fill
New driver and passenger power window motors
New starter
New battery
Replaced odometer gears and motor in gauge cluster
New driver's side cup holder
New windshield
Upgrades I've done since I've owned the car are:
Napa premium front rotors with new wheel bearings
Stillen cross drilled rear rotors
Stillen metal matrix brake pads (also have an extra set that will go with the car)
Goodridge stainless steel brake lines
Granger 1NCR5 proportioning valve spring upgrade
Polyurethane sway bar bushings and end links (also cleaned and repainted sway bars)
TDS steering brace (aka wonderbar)
Founders Performance solid strut mounts (also referred to as caster/camber plates)
Eibach Pro-kit springs
Koni Yellow adjustable front struts and rear shocks
The car also has a K&N air filter and Flowmaster catback (not installed by me)
