Purchased the car new from Scholfield Pontiac Buick GMC in Wichita KS.

I believe whoever buys this car already knows what options were on all of the 30th Anniversary Trans Ams. The only major differences were convertible or coupe and automatic transmission or 6-speed manual. Hopefully, the pictures I have included will be enough to answer all questions.

The pictures include 1 picture taken in late March of 1999 of the car in the dealers lot with Official Pace Car decals. My understanding is that it was one of the 30 cars made up as pace cars. However, my wife said she would not ride in the car with the decals on it. So, before I took delivery, any decals referencing it being a pace car were removed. Technically, I think the feather stripes may have been part of the pace car package, but my wife didn't object to those. I also had them tint the windows and add the Traditional Firebird decals (3 places) and also add striping to accentuate the 'PONTIAC' designation above the rear bumper.

In the seventeen plus years I have owned the car it has accumulated a few dings. I have included pictures of the worst of them. Four of them are on the stripes on the rear spoiler, and two are on the left rear wheel.

I also noticed very recently that the power mirror on the passenger side would go left and right but would not go up and down. The dealer diagnosed the problem. There best solution was for me to obtain a replacement mirror online that they would paint and install. I have been getting this car out once a year to drive to the Lake Afton Car Show. If I were going to keep the car, I would not spend what it was going to cost to make the mirror go up and down (it can be adjusted manually). I do not plan to fix it.

I have decided to put my car up for sale simply because except for the annual Lake Afton Car Show, it sits and takes up garage space that I'd like to have for other things.
