78 Trans AM, Survivor

1978 Trans Am 400 W72, 4spd, 3.42 posi. PS/PB/PW/AC 28,500 orig. miles. All numbers matching, orig. build sheet & documentation, Solar Gold w/ completely untouched orig. deluxe cloth tan int.(build sheet still under drivers seat), excellent cond., am/fm/8 track stereo. Everything works perfectly w/ exception of clock. 750 miles on rebuilt motor w/ mild performance upgrades. Lunati Voodoo Hydraulic Flat Tappet cam 276/284, Comp Cams 1.5 roller tip rockers, .30 over TRW forged pistons, Eagle rods, orig. 6X/4 (W72) heads were cleaned up (mild port work), new springs & stainless steel valves, Tomahawk intake has some mild port work to clean up the factory imperfections & matched to heads, orig. 800 cfm quadrajet was rebuilt & jetted for the bigger cam, Hypertech coil sits under the stock distributer cap. Ram Air Restoration exhaust manifolds flow into Pypes 2.5" exhaust w Flowmasters. Mcleod steel flywheel w/ 11" ram pressure plate & cluch disk. Edelbrock Performance AIS shocks, polyurethane sway bar bushings, new 17" Year One snowflake rims w/ new 255/50/17 Nitto tires. All orig sheet metal, glass & trim, solid floorboards & chassis, fully undercoated. Originalbird on hood.Car has had some paint work over the years. Minor rust on bottom of pass. fender. I am the 5th owner & have had it for the last 11 yrs. Very well documented & unrestored. As close to a true survivor as you will find. Too much to list. Runs & drives like new. Adult owned.
