This is a rare Pontiac. The Pontiac dealers in Canada requested a car to sell to be able to compete with the Chevrolet dealers and this is what GM came up with. It is basically a Chevrolet Nova with Acadian badging that was built on the same assembly line with the Nova at Willowrun. It is a 6 cylinder overhead valve with a 3 speed manual transmission. The shifting linkage was moved to the floor and needs to be set up properly as it occasionally locks up and you have to free the linkage by moving the shifter back and forth. It runs and drives well and has a set of Nova rally wheels on the car but will include the set of steel wheels and Pontiac dog dish caps as well. Clean title and will supply documents for importing to the US. If unable to enter Canada can assist with delivery to Detroit area for transportation to your location. Drive it the way it is or do whatever you would to a Nova of this vintage. big block and tubbed would be fun. This model was not ever available new in the United States and according to the research I have done the only other place that produced the Acadian was Chile. So here is your chance to own a one of a kind automobile. I will be happy to answer any questions and provide more photos if needed but allow time as it is stored in a barn and this is winter in Canada lol. I can be reached at 519-738-6501. A nonrefundable deposit of $500 US through paypal within 48 hours required and the balance in cash when picked up within a week. r can store until spring where it is sitting presently if completely paid for within a week . Thank you for looking and good luck.
