PHS documentation shows this car originally with 389 tri power 4 speed. 390 posi. no PS. PB. Car now has a very strong 1970 455 professionally rebuilt out of a Grand Prix. the motor is very strong and solid with less than 5000 miles on rebuild. does not have the original transmission either. currently has a 4 speed with small oil leak. may need throw out bearing but runs and drives. rear end is also not original and is an open type. With all that being said. this is a real GTO that you can afford and drive tomorrow. car starts right up and is is driver quality as they say. Brakes are tight and 4 wheel drum. As near as I can tell this is just a survivor car that has been kept in driving quality most of its life. and the next owner should do the same hopefully. the pictures will say the most. It is not a restored car and nothing on the car is absolutely perfect. but then again nothing on the car a regular person couldn't live with. Car has been repainted at least 20 years ago. I just had the whole car wet sanded and buffed. shows very nice with some nicks.
