1983 Porsche 911SC CoupeNO RESERVE - ORIGINAL PAINT - AUCTION ENDS EASTER!!! Thanks for checking out my 1983 Porsche 911SC. This is a beautiful car that is still wearing its original paint. original numbers matching engine. with the transmission still in place. It is very hard to find original Survivor cars these days. It is refreshing to find cars like these. especially Porsches. This is a great car in many ways. and who doesn’t like a factory Guards Red Porsche with black interior? When I drive this car around. it really turns heads. it is a nice piece of machinery. Being red it helps out a little as well (okay maybe a lot). I took lots of photos of this car which you see below. The color code is G1. Guards Red. sometimes called Indian Red. factory 3. 0 engine #64D0939. original gear box 915/63 #7404192. This is the type of car that has been kept up through the years. but never restored. It has a few small upgrades for improvement. but overall it is an original piece of German engineering. It has been on the road its whole life. with only 158. 09 on the odometer. which for a 33 year old vehicle is pretty low in general. It runs very well. This is the type of rig you can fly in and drive it home. The paint is original. meaning it is the original paint applied by Porsche in 1982 (car was built 9/82). It shows some wear obviously. nbsp; it's not a trailer queen. but it looks awesome. It has small chips in various areas like in the hood headlight area. front bumper. and various other spots from being driven. The Paint is 33 years old. nbsp;and it has a very nice gloss to it. It has a few spots where it has rubbed a little thin. nbsp; especially on top of the passenger fender. and a small spot on passenger quarter. nbsp;but that goes with the territory of original paint. It can only be original once. so to me. it looks great. and the originality outweighs the road wear. This little coupe drives fantastic. the stance is perfect. it starts right up. nbsp; and has that great Porsche exhaust note. I have driven it many times. Even a few weeks ago my wife and I took this car and another one we have. and escorted our daughters to their spring formal. It was awesome cruising through town. in 2 matching 911’s. View the photos. take your time. and please ask questions. I am available to talk about this car anytime. Thanks. Jason 503-910-2085There are lots of photos of this car. inside and out. you should be able to get a very good idea of what the condition is. Overall very solid. great driving car. that you will enjoy this spring and summer. The body is in really nice condition. no signs of any rust. no rust blisters in the paint. the inner aprons are all damage free. as well you will notice inside the quarters and fenders no areas were it looks like it had any repairs. I took pictures of underneath the car. everything looks satisfactory and original from what I can see. very solid. The glass is in great shape. very small micro divots in the windshield. nothing to be repairs. and does not effect driving or vision. just a 36 year old car pretty common. All the exterior and interior lights are working on the car. The headlight washers are not working. probably the little motor needs to be replaced very common. easy to replace. they are fairly inexpensive around $60-80. The interior is in great condition. I will explain more under the pictures but you can get a great idea from the pictures. Non smoker. very pleasant inside. The sunroof and door glass. are power. all 3 work perfect. All the gauges are working good. even the little low fuel light turns on. The clock is not working currently. go figure. very common. It has an aftermarket radio in it. the CD player does work. the antenna is not coming up when I turn the radio on. next owner may want to look into that down the road. It does have factory AC. and it does work. everything is hooked up. it cycles on and off. it starts to blow cold. but then fades out. it needs a recharge probably on it. but it is working. which is good. The seats have had a couple repairs but for the most part for original seats they look really nice. and very usable. The dash pad is perfect no cracks. headliner is excellent. The engine starts right up. and sounds excellent. The car has plenty of power. no missing. it runs very good. does not burn oil or blow smoke. It does have some minor oil leaks. there are a few drips on the ground after driving it. maybe a dime to quarter size. The engine runs great. but in the future like any Porsche. or VW. they are prone to leak a little. just the way it is. does not bother me that much. because it is pretty minimal. and you don't smell it or anything while driving. It has been upgraded with Hydraulic Fed Chain tensioners. and pop off valve. 2 things that are important upgrades on these cars. The transmission shifts nicely. does not pop out of gear. no grinding. the clutch feels very good. This is a great driving car. and very dependable. It has been upgraded with a factory aluminum Porsche adjustable cross member a very nice add. also you will notice Ducting for the front disc brakes. and backing plates. Overall mechanically it is in great shape. Original Fuch Staggered wheels front and rear. The tires are in decent shape. but they are running low on tread. something you will want to upgrade down the road. but for now they are usable. This is a NO RESERVE. starting bid at $19. 83. yes NO RESERVE. top bid gets it. View the pictures and read the auction. If you have more questions let me know. and I would be glad to help you out. My Porsche Plates do not come with the car. if you twist my arm I might give you 1. OEM Porsche Rock guards look great on the 911SC. I looked at this photo a couple times when I loaded it. and thought. is this the same as the one above? Sunroof is open. it works great. opens and closes nicely. All the exterior lights work. fog lamps. marker lights etc. Down the sides of the car look great. a few very small ripples in doors. but nothing you really notice. you might see them in the garage. but not outside in the sun. You got to remember the car is wearing its original paint from the factory. this car HAS NO BONDO. NO FILLER. has not been repainted. NO ACCIDENTS. Oregon title. matches the VINS on the car. so easy export. VIN on drivers side of window pillar official VIN number. On inside door jam on drivers side. also notice no paint lines around it. This number matches the title and window vin. For 1983 911SC Coupe US Built WP0AA091XDS120001-2559. you can see this is car number 0492 an early 1983. This is the ID under the hood. this is one that confuses people. you will notice that most of the numbers are correct. but there is a ZZZ. and a Z instead of the X. The Z is just a filler letter. this is just an ID. I believe a European number from the factory. You will see the Consecutive unit number is the same. This is the way all 17 digit 911SC cars are. The VIN on the Window Pillar. andDoor jam are the true identity of the car. Though this number is import as well in its own right. but because it is an ID for the car as well. All numbers are correct on this car. engine. trans. VINS and ID. Original Color Code. G1 - Guards Red. On the passenger side of Engine Original Engine for this car #64D0939. you can also tell this engine is an early 1983 engine by the engine number. Unlike US cars. and I mean Ford. Chevy Etc. the VIN number on the car and the ID on engine and trans are not supposed to match. Correct transmission. 915/63. #7404192 Original Owners manual Nice original door panels. also it does have power windows and they both work great. Very nice original door jams. no signs of any rust issues. very good condition. Dash pad is in great shape. no cracks. and is original. Has an aftermarket AM/FM CD. I can not get the antenna to go up. so I do not get radio stations. but the CD player does work. I bet if the antenna worked. the radio would. Horn and Cruise Control work as well. Original steering wheel is nice to see on this car. so many have been outfitted with Momo aftermarket. this is refreshing. The Low Fuel Light Works!!! The bottom of the bolster has been replaced. and the center stitch was repaired at some point. But over the seats for original are in very good condition. Headliner is MINT!! Dome lights work good as well. There is a Popoff valve inside the airbox as well. Upgraded Hydraulic Cam tubes. this is an important upgrade on any 911.
