1972 Porsche 911 2.4E Targa, Collector’s item, Albert Speer, War History

Selling for private collectorThis 1972 Porsche 911 2. 4E Targa was bought new from Porsche by Mr. Albert Speer making it the only Porsche 911 that we know of. with a World War II history. Albert Speer was a German architect who was. for a part of World War II. Minister of Armaments and War Production for the Third Reich. Speer was Adolf Hitler's chief architect and reported directly to Adolf Hitler. Responsible for war production and materials Albert Speer worked closely with Ferdinand Porsche and Porsche for prototyping and delivery of their tanks and war material. After the war. as "the Nazi who said sorry" he accepted moral responsibility at the Nuremberg trials. He was tried at Nuremberg and avoided death penalty with a 3 to 8 vote. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his role in the Nazi regime in October 1946. He was released from prison October 1. 1966. This car was bought new from Porsche by Albert Speer in September 1971. It was later sold and exported to Norway in August 1974 where has been since. In 1975 all hollow spaces and canals was drilled and sprayed with oil and anti-rust mixture. so even today the inside of canals are rust free and like new. Video or onsite real-time view with micro inspection camera can be provided. The outside of the car needs repainting but have been keeps as is for historic reason. But there is no attacking rust underneath the car and all rust issues you expect to find on these cars are not present. This car is therefore both unique for its condition and for it Signal Gelb paint with black interior. as used and promoted by Porsche. As it is a 72 model. it has the unique oil filler cap on the rear right fender. The car is of course a matching number car. Certificate of Authenticity is provided on request. The engine was in 2011 completely rebuilt to factory specifications by Norway’s most know Porsche engine builder trough 45 years. and has less than 2000Km since rebuild.
