2004 Porsche Boxster Base Convertible 2-Door 2.7L

2004 Porsche Boxster Gray Convertible This mid engine German 5 speed manual convertible roadster is extremely fun to drive. The handling and acceleration from this rear wheel drive car makes driving to work no longer a dread. but something you look forward to (now what happens after you get to work. well I can't solve everything). For the age. this car is in excellent condition. People comment on it regularly thinking it's much newer with the unique Porsche body style. This car has been garage kept and babied. Plus. if you live in the Greenville area there is a non-dealer Porsche certified mechanic. ProTech Sports. who is great! This car has the Bose stereo package. AKA directly behind your seat is a Bose sub-woofer. Then. behind the woofer. is the distinctive sound of that inline 6 cylinder 2. 7 liter Porsche engine. not much cooler than that! Oh yeah she also gets a combined 25 mpg! There are very few 2004 Boxsters. which was the 986 generation's last year. It's pretty sweet to get to enjoy all the bug fixes and tweaks that were resolved since the beginning. You get a bigger engine. the headlights and tail lights are upgraded (less amber coloring). the back window is actually glass not vinyl. you get 17" spoke wheels (harder to clean but look way better). glove box (sorry still no cup holders). and there is the redone exhaust pipe and air intake styling. For the year. she is in excellent condition. She runs and drives great. There is no check engine light on. and the automatic top works great. It is literally ready and made to be driven! I am very picky on my cars and honest of any known condition. Condition Notes:Trunk has "S" badge however car is base model (prior owner thought it look cool I guess. )Car has been repainted. It's not factory. but overall still very impressive. Only one key (no big deal for me as I don't let my wife drive it. but eBay sells replacement keys for around $18 if you need it. These aren't the $300 computer chip keys). Kumho tires have probably 80% tread left. Wheels and center cap show some age. Nothing a can of PlastiDip couldn't solve. Small fingernail size paint chip above the rear driver's panel. Two small dents on rear trunk where someone tried to close trunk with something too big to close inside. Rear trunk release electric opener does not always open. but there is a manual release cord underneath. I was quoted just under $300 by Carmax (have document) to have it fixed. It's one of those $90 parts any electrical person could do to save the labor costs and extra tax of a shop. The front trunk is MUCH bigger anyway. so this just hasn't been worth the effort to fix in my book. The price is firm. Please only serious buyer. No joy rides or tire kickers. No. I will not self finance you. The title is with my bank. It does have a clean title with no wrecks and only registered in TX. GA and SC.
