1997 Porsche Boxster Base Convertible 2-Door 2.5L

I wanted to start off with the reason. and the ONLY reason this car is for sale is I could NOT resist the allure of the Boxster S. after buying the 1997 Boxster seen here. I have owned this car for only 3 months. and in that time. I have become a huge fan of the Boxster 986 type. I have been looking for the S type for about a month when the car I bought on Thursday. came up for sale. about a week ago. I just wanted to make that perfectly clear. Also. if you have never driven a Boxster. I highly recommend it. They are a great car. I cannot say enough about them. I had planned on keeping this car for the long haul. Recent work/parts include New tires. Dunlop Direzzas in the original size. Installed at 79. 34 miles. Approx 4000 miles on them. I have the paper work for them installed at OK Tire in N. Sacramento. They look new. see the photo of the rear tread. Car was 4 wheel aligned the day the tires were installed. by Radial Tire Service in Sacramento. New OEM water pump/low temp water thermostat. Pump/thermostat was installed by myself. I am a 35 year Aircraft Mechanic (FAA A&P with Inspection Authorization Cert). I used phosphate free coolant with distilled water. New front brake pads/rotors. Recent rear pads and rotors. I also had the clear portion of the top replaced by Highlands Upholstery (they do this for Niello PORSCHE as well). and the center console lid recovered. I also bought several interior trim parts. receipts included. The Air Conditioning system was also recently serviced by TriStar Motorsports in Sacramento. I have all receipts for the last 10 years. I bought this car from a Little Old Lady. She took great care of it. nbsp;it was her 3rd PORSCHE. This car is highly optioned. it was also a factory 550 code car. meaning it delivered with a factory hardtop. It is not with the car. and was kept by the original owner it appears. as it was not with it when the Little Old Lady bought it at Niello PORSCHE in Sacramento. Much of the work done to the car over the years was performed at Schatz and Krum here in Sacramento. All service/repair receipts included with the car. I would not be afraid to drive this car anywhere. it runs great. I just ran BG44k through a tank of gas. Motor is smooth. nbsp;and runs fantastic. I love these cars. and I think this one is a great example of the original version. Options include. . nbsp; Boxster Red Interior. Heated seats. body colored roll bar. 17 inch wheels. Stainless entry Boxster script. Aluminum face instrument dials. CD Player. Removable storage compartment. Cruise. on board computer. Wind deflector set. I will answer any question. and I will be 100% honest. I am not a Dealer. I wish I could afford to keep this car. as the Boxster S I just bought is almost to nice to drive. However. I can't.
