Up for sale is a 2007 Porsche Cayman. We bought this from a local dealer about a year ago. I watched it sitting there for about six months and didn't figure it would sell anytime soon due to the area of the country I live it. (Can you say depressed?) I finally stopped with my wife and drove it. We were both impressed with the way it drove and felt like it was mechanically sound. The Carfax showed minor damage and the dealer said a rear quarter panel was hit and repaired. We made an offer and drove it home. As this was going to be a car my wife drove we wanted to make sure it was perfect and no monsters about to leap out at us. We took it to the closest Porsche Dealer which was in Memphis and gave them the go ahead to check everything out out and fix it. The 50,000 mile recommended service was done with some other minor corrections. The TPI was changed out and is functioning fine now. Notorious issue with the Porsche. The Service Department stated the car is in great condition and not a thing to worry about with this car. The car has 58k miles on it and drives and shifts out very strong. It is about as much fun on four wheels that you can ask for. The interior is very clean and I purchased Weathertech Floor-mats for it. The are no tears in the upholstery and the leather seats are still supple. The paint I would call a 5 footer. There are some chips in the paint so it is not a show quality paint. I would call it a driver quality. It is nothing to be ashamed of driving. It does get looked at close and people love it. Like I said earlier there are just not many Porsches in the area. If you are looking for a mechanically sound used Porsche to drive this is the one for you. The reason I am selling? I have way too many toys and need to cut back as I am getting closer to retirement. Time to cut back on insurance and I am sure not going to let go some of my other toys. Plus I am looking to pick up an old British Sports car to restore and I will need the shop space. Something to piddle with during my retirement. Happy Bidding
