Beautiful 1982 red Porsche 924, ecently went through full check at carmax with no issues. The look of a sleek Porsche sports car with a fuel efficient engine. Has a 4 cylinder engine, anual transmission, un to drive!
35 mpg highway. Beautiful body, ewer paint job (not perfect, ut looks pretty good), ice rims and lots of Porsche details. Equipped with Blaupunkt radio and cassette player, /C (not amazing, ut it goes, ay need a new compressor to truly blow cold), unroof, ower windows (passenger side needs new switch- simple fix), ower mirrors, op up headlights, ecaro leather sports seats (comfortable but leather is torn so I keep seat covers on front seats), ack seat that can fold down for more storage space in the back. 3 spoke leather wrapped steering wheel. Newer tires. Have recently replaced: alternator, tarter, eadlights, lutch, orque tube, rive shaft and bearings, uel pump and thermostat. Recent wax job and oil change, an go 7500 miles in between. No engine or transmission leaks, unroof is well sealed.
Comes with original owner's manual and Haynes repair manual. Have service receipts for recent work done on the car if interested. We bought it last summer and have been steadily improving it to maximize its value, ut need a bigger car now.
Issues to be aware of:windshield washer reservoir has cracks in it, asy to replace and a cheap part if you really want to have it (pump works fine), s noted passenger window needs new switch, uel gauge is not always accurate, o I always keep it pretty full, atchback shocks don't hold the hatchback window up without support, dometer stopped working around 59000, ctual mileage estimate based on condition of original parts is about 85000, o still pretty low. Underside edges look a little beaten up, rom a previous owner. Has been nicely taken care of, nd has not been daily driver for last two owners but it is sold as is with no warranty.
