Purchased off eBay in July 2005 – I have owned this prize for 11 years. I bought it right after the Cox restoration and through the years I have paid attention to details like handling, uspension, eater, nd drivability. It is now a dependable and great driving car. Since I retired back in California, find I am just not driving this car very often, o it is time to pass this gem onto another admirer.

• Before I left Chicago, idwest Eurosport in Bensonville (The Midwest’s largest Porsche Repair Shop and PCA Race Support Shop) completely rebuilt the engine and transmission – so the buyer will have a zeroed out 911 engine and trans rebuilt by the best (built by Tony). All mechanicals by Cox Motorsports, highly respected Porsche race shop 911 race shop. Perfect 1978 3.0 liter motor makes 250 horsepower and 187 lb-ft of torque - 911SC motor, -speed 901 gearbox, nd 911 transaxle. The front mechanicals are all 356 – the rear mechanicals are all 911. Heater from the 911 engine works great.

911 disk brakes all around, ew shocks, uspension, prights reinforced like Cox's Porsche racecars, 11 alloy wheels. Charcoal filter for gas tank, urn signals hidden above headlights, ront fender oil cooler with thermostatically controlled fan like a 911 (never overheats), eroquip oil lines to the motor.
