NOTE: This is a "Cost No Object” Porsche 2011 GT3 RS 997.2. Please do not hesitate to call us at 925-846-1451 and we will be glad to discuss a ‽Buy it Now” approach and answer any questions regarding Classic Cars Ltd., shipping or specific details about the Porsche. Since the GT3 RS is advertised in other locations, we reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
This desirable Carrera white GT3 RS 997.2 was purchased new from Park Place Porsche on October 12, 2010 with 9 miles on the odometer. The details of the cars factory configuration and options are listed later in this summary. The GT3 RS accumulated a total of 3,995 miles, documented on the CarFax detailed history report (available upon request). During that time, the car received warranty service work by the local Porsche dealer with 6+ service records shown on the CarFax report including minor services, mechanical inspections, and fluid changes. Porsche dealer invoices are included that outline the warranty work that was performed when the car was relatively new, and until the car accumulated 3,553 miles. Please keep in mind that the car has been driven fewer than 4,000 miles so required maintenance was obviously completed as a function of time, not mileage.
Shortly after the cars purchase by the original owner, he invested in significant improvements to the cars suspension, brakes, wheels and tires, and mechanical components. The goal was to construct one of the finest examples of a GT3 RS track car without performing modifications to what is basically a race ready 3.8 liter power plant in the ‽stock” GT3 RS. The desirable Metzer engine was deemed as being more than sufficient in its original configuration and not internal modifications were made. Literally all of the work was performed by Porsche factory technicians or highly respected Porsche performance oriented/race preparation facilities. These include RSS (Road Sport Supply), Patrick Motorsports, & SharkWerks.
During the large majority of the cars 3,995 miles, the history suggests that it was being street driven, serviced by the Porsche dealer, and even receiving factory recommended recalls for the GT3; basically a race car for the street "out of the box.” Again, all of this service is documented on CarFax as the GT3 was being prepared for "Aggressive street”, or race use.
While the repair history is entirely too comprehensive to list in this summary, we will highlight the significant upgrades make this GT3 RS superior to the already incredible stock car. It is important to note that as upgrades were made to lighten the car, add superior components, and enhance its already exceptional capabilities, factory components were retained. This includes extensive parts ranging from stock interior/trim to factory fitted GT3 RS coil-overs, exhaust components, and boxes of original OEM removed GT3 RS parts with 3,000 miles~ on them.
Additionally, the car comes with spares that include minimally used mounted slicks and a complete, new set of OZ center lock wheels with new, never used slicks. Additional spares are shown in the photos and the extra / spare parts are considerable with a stated value exceeding $50,000.00.

ABOUT CLASSIC CARS LTD.
- Classic Cars Ltd. has been in the same, small, California town for over 23 years. We operate a small "brick & mortar", indoor showroom, and specialize in the sale, consignment, and purchase of sports, high performance and specialty vehicles of all types. We have a particular interest in sports cars and high performance street, and race vehicles.
- The majority of our vehicles come from local, private owners and collectors, and many were sold new in California. We appreciate that rust free cars, with excellent documentation and history are especially attractive to our buyers both locally, and around the country. As a result, we do not purchase our collectible cars from "distressed" sales, such as wholesale auctions, salvage sales, or lien sales. We do not sell vehicles with salvage titles, or those that have a history of significant accident damage or repair.
We have sold hundreds of unique, classic and collectible vehicles and regularly deal with buyers that have not had the experience of purchasing a large (both physically and monetarily) item on eBay, or through an Internet source. Our eBay feedback of 900+ transactions is 100% positive on all vehicle sales from customers around the globe and is a reflection of our commitment to accurate, complete, and thorough vehicle descriptions.
- We have been shipping vehicles for years and have established excellent contacts that are not only high quality but very price competitive. We do not use brokers, terminal shipping or other discount methods. Call us or email for a quote directly to your home or office. We are often able to obtain quality enclosed transportation (the kind of travel this car deserves) for the cost of open shipping.
- Please review our feedback on eBay (user name Never22Many) representing over 900+ positive transactions to buyers all over the United States / World.
- We are fully insured, bonded, and licensed for collector car sales all over the United States/World.
- Classic Cars Ltd. carries a $50,000 Surety bond to cover financial transactions
- We frequently sell vehicles to out of State / out of country buyers, and will be glad to provide references for buyers in your area.
MISCELLANEOUS GENERAL INFORMATION
- This GT3 RS is being sold as an ‽Off Road” Race Vehicle although it retains street legal lighting systems, windshield wipers (removed), functioning factory gauges, and even air conditioning.
- All components mentioned in the auction are included but it is the buyer's responsibility to locate a suitable transporter. We will be glad to assist and can often obtain competitive, high quality enclosed shipping at a very reasonable cost.
- As with virtually all collector/specialty vehicles, we find that parts and resources are readily available for this (and most every vehicle), thanks in large part to the Internet.
- In addition to the purchase price of the vehicle, California buyers will be subject to sales tax, a documentation fee, DMV transfer fees and license/registration. Out-of-state buyers will be responsible for the purchase price of the vehicle and any local taxes/fees will be the purchaser's responsibility to pay in their respective state. IMPORTANT NOTE: If the vehicle is delivered or driven in California and driven on California roads, sales-tax, license/registration and transfer fees will be assessed per California law.
- While we encourage telephone calls to discuss this vehicle in greater detail we will not respond to inquiries asking "What is the reserve". Also, if you would prefer that we call you to answer any questions about the vehicle; shipping alternatives, etc. please e-mail us with your telephone number and will gladly get back in touch with you.
- As with any collectible vehicle of this vintage we are unable to provide a warranty or guarantee of condition. However, we make every effort to accurately represent our vehicles, and highlight both positive items as well as areas that require attention. We ask that prospective buyers consider our eBay history/feedback, standing in the community, length of time in business, and other factors when purchasing a collectible vehicle from Classic Cars Ltd.
- Inspections are available within 48 hours of the end of the auction and can be arranged by calling 925-846-1451
- The information contained in this description is believed to be accurate but, in some instances, has been provided by the car's owner / owners or outside sources.
