1 of 606 LHD Carrera 3.0 Coupes built in 1976. For those unaware of the Carrera 3.0, it is a European-only performance version of the 911 that replaced the 1974-1975 Euro Carrera 2.7 which itself had replaced the 1973 911 RS.
Rare sunroof delete and factory alarm. Porsche COA, #'s matching, original plaid sport seats/interior and Fuchs wheels. Restoration in 2012 ($40K in receipts), rebuilt engine and transmission, bare metal respray, SSI exhaust. Factory tools, books, records, air compressor and spare tire.
I purchased this car in 2012 from its first US owner who purchased the car from its German owner in Dusseldorf 30 years ago. Original 930/02 engine (#6660982) and 915 gearbox -- both fully rebuilt including high performance pistons from Jeff Gamroth (Rothsport) to original Carrera 3.0 specifications. Lightened flywheel, powder coated engine tin, Bosch H4 headlamps, rear wiper, and nut & bolt disassembly/assembly as part of mechanical restoration. Original rare plaid interior as it left the Porsche factory.
No oil leaks, very fast, and ready to enjoy for years to come.I've owned a 964RS and 993RS and this car feels as fast as either of them.
Bid with confidence as I've been on eBay 16 years with 100% Positive feedback, 20-year Porsche Club of America member, and long-time vintage car collector/racer.
Partial trades considered.
