1953 356 porsche1500 super # matching

1953 1500 super engine and body numbers matching. all doors lids dash stamped with # 91. The body has no rusted panels that are in need of replacing. The lid gaps are perfect. all lids open flawlessly. Doors open and closeperfectlyThe interior is in need of finishing. The car has been in process of repair for last 25 years off and on. I sent lower case to Harry Pellow in the 90s (see receipt) He reground cam back to 1500 super grind installed new crank and rods bearings. line bored case for cam. Then whole engine sent to emory motor sports for complete top end. new jugs valve job etc. (see receipts) The engine was started last year and had a knock in it and contaminants showing up in the Oberg filter. Inspected the engine and found the piston in backwards. Turned piston around and have been monitoring the contaminants which would exspect to have been coming from a used oil cooler installed by Emerys mechanic . The engine runs good. sounds good and oil is clean threw bypass filter and Oberg filter. I was told by Aurther Conner to sent engine back. I cannot separate engine from car any more and have decided living in Alaska makes it hard to complete. So I am selling. This car is so close to being completed. Car has been completely media blasted coated with epoxy primers and urethane paints. You will not find one dent in bottom of car. all bottom panel will have no rust and are completely sealed from rust. I just took car of off the dolly it has been sitting one for 20 years and set car on ground. I have never drove it. And it probably has not been driven since the 60s. I have all old original parts removed from engine. If you look at old parts they were done to Floyd Clymer the lady and super. It can be shipped Alaska Marine lines to Seattle/Tacoma where you can be trucked from there.
