I am the original owner of this 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 with a Cummins diesel with 42k miles. This is the last year of the non DEF diesels. I have taken very good care of the truck and have had all the required maintenance done as it should be. It has been garage kept since new. I installed Weathertec floor mats both front and back as soon as I got the truck so the original carpet mats were never used but are included with the purchase of the truck. I installed Sulastic shackles which made a huge difference in the ride of the truck. When I got the truck I honestly wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to handle such a harsh ride for a daily driver. After doing some research I came across the Sulastic shackles and had them installed. They make the truck ride as good as a half-ton truck but when weighted down allow the springs to carry the weight. I also originally had a 2” leveling kit installed on the front of the truck to level it out. It didn’t drive or handle as well as it did before installing the kit so I had it removed and decided to remove the factory 2” blocks in the back of the truck. This worked great to level it out but when I put weight in the bed or pulled a trailer the soft suspension allowed it to squat a little too much in the back so I installed air bags along with a compressor to allow you to inflate or deflate while driving. This was another huge improvement that allowed a great ride and fine tuning the ride when the weight varied in the bed or on a trailer. I will include the leveling kit for the front, actory rear shackles and 2” blocks with the sale of the truck along with the factory non-towing style mirrors. I also had a B&W flip gooseneck ball hitch installed the bed and it comes with a 4” setback ball for extra cab clearance and has the trailer plug installed inside the bed.. The outside and interior of the truck are as close to new as you will find for a 2012. The truck has never been smoked in and has no stains of any kind in the seats or carpet. I removed the factory emblems from the truck to give it a cleaner appearance but it is the Big Horn package with options such as electric rear sliding glass, emote start and Alpine stereo with factory sub-woofer under rear seat. The tires have about 15k miles on them and just recently I had them rotated and balanced. They are BFG mud terrain 35x12.50 on factory aluminum wheels. The bed cover is a solid metal type that works really well and will be included with the truck. The only defect on the truck is the rear bumper. I was pulling our camper and turned a little too sharp and the propane bottles on the tongue of the trailer touched the right rear of the bumper. I will have a new bumper installed prior to the winning bidder picking up the truck. To sum it all up, his is a great running and driving truck. The only reason I am selling the truck is because I recently bought a 2012 Ram 3500 dually with an 8’ bed that will allow us to take our generator with us when we go to horse shows. We have done it with this truck but it doesn’t leave as much room for all the other stuff we seem to have to take with us. I paid almost $47,000 for the truck when I bought it new and feel my starting price with no reserve is in the price range of what these trucks are selling for and I believe this one probably is in better shape and has less miles than others you might find. Feel free to come by and check it out or give me a call/text with questions. Thanks for looking Jeff 501-786-0962 I also have both sets of key fobs and keys that came with the truck, wo keys for the bed cover, ll the maintenance records, riginal brochure, nd clear title with no liens against it.
