Description

Up for Sale is 1 RARE Solid Warehouse Stored Southern MGB-GT. The previous owner had Started a restoration Job and never finished. He did do most of the hard stuff and the car Is complete With some parts sand blasted and put in boxes. The good. It is All Original and Very solid underneath looks like it was undercoated at the dealer when new. NO rust holes anywhere The Battery boxes are solid and the floor boards still have the Original Rubber mats on them. The Engine has apparently been REBUILT and painted all holes are covered and it comes with a sandblasted exhaust manifold with new studs and nuts installed. The engine Turns over freely and we can see New or polished pistons inside. It has all new Gaskets IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEBODY spent A lot of time and money. A rebuilt engine Can run from $3. 00-5K. It has been attached the 4 speed Gearbox but the Drive shaft was never been bolted up. The engine has new clean oil in it but was never cranked We put the oil in to turn it over. It looks awesome and has a new fan blade. There is a box with both SU HIF 4 CARBS With air cleaners already assembled with heater core alternator etc. They painted The engine bay so all was removed. The suspension has been converted to Tube Type shocks Koni on the rear and Monroe on the front. This will make the car handle great. The car shows 77. 63 miles which I believe is correct. I HAVE A CLEAR TENNESSEE Tiltle from 1989 SHOWING 75K. All the doors close and open easily the hatch and the hood also all the glass is correct with no chips scratches and marks. All of the body Rubber has been replaced Including the door seals windshield seal rear hatch glass seals etc. and are not rotten. The Paint Job was Done in the 1990's along with everything else and is very Good it needs waxing I just washed it off with a hose. The are some very small scratches here and there from moving the car around. But the Paint Looks VERY NICE. We own a British Car Parts Warehouse and when we saw this car WE knew it was WAY TO NICE TO EVER PART OUT! I have had a few customers who own MG'S look at the car and were very impressed buy the way all the doors and hood line up with the body and they were VERY surprised at How SOLID the CAR WAS. And yes we have had a couple of offers thrown at us. But they were going to sell it on ebay and try to make some money themselves! The car has a new Brake Master Cylinder already installed in the brake box ready to install. ALL PARTS are included The radiator the sandblasted and coated Radiator shroud gearshift lever. Big Bumper Blocks this year is supposed to have them they call it 1974 1/2 It was the last year of the chrome bumper cars. 3 boxes included everything is there. Someone has already Spent time and money the Body is done The engine is done. The seats are original and do show some wear. It does have the original Keys. With the Leyland swirl. Some bad points The dash has a small Crack in the center You will need a dash cover. One of the jack points is crushed in and will need to be straightened. The door panels look Good some wear on the drivers side The car is 40 years old. The Tires are OLD and Dry rotted. The Car will need new a frame bushings.
