Description

I got this car from my dad about 5 years ago; he was given it by my brother-in-law who is a pilot and used it for driving around Atlanta. It has run well all along, nd is a lot of fun cruising around with the top down. It is a manual with overdrive and fairly zips. I'm selling it because I have nowhere to park it (or tinker with it) and it deserves a better home for someone with a bit of time to enjoy it. When my brother-in-law bought it the engine was just rebuilt (10 years back now), nd the car repainted, nd the soft top replaced. My dad did some brake work; I did some electrical work, nd put on new tires, ust replaced the brakelines and the fuel pump as well. (The brakes need to be pumped to engage properly; need to be bled again.) The sound from the radio isn't great. I took out the old and bought new speakers, ut haven't installed them. There's some body damage, rom minor bits of rust to a few paint bubbles (you can see in the photos), o a some body damage in the left wheel well. With a little bit of work, his car could be a real beauty. It leaks a touch of oil, s all these models do, nd to no serious effect. I enjoy the car, ut want to give it on to someone who will enjoy driving it. I've got no reserve on the bidding, o bid with confidence. You'll need to pick the car up. Good luck!

Added more photos. Note, here is not much rust. The discoloration under the hood is fiberglass sound insulation that is peeling (and has dropped some fibers onto engine if you see them in photos). In the trunk the carpet needs to be glued, ut no rust there. Also added photos of tires (spare in trunk) plus good treads on rest as well. You can now see the tear in the softtop (though it doesn't really leak.) And you can see I've got some repair books, nd will throw in a bag of other stuff I bought for the car (bought new speakers haven't installed, lus have some spare electrical fuses, ulbs, nd so on that will be added to the car). I drove it this morning for about 10 miles. It drives very well. I think you could pick it up to drive home, ut as I said the brakes have to be pumped once quickly before they engage properly--but then they engage fully, nd strongly. Up to you. Write with any questions. Happy to answer.
