My in-laws purchased this car new in 1975. They drove it approximately 34K miles before the choke stopped working correctly, aking it very difficult to start. It sat parked in their garage from 1989 until 1995. They signed the title over to my wife in 1995, nd I have since added twin SU carbs with manual choke, stainless steel exhaust, ew brakes, nd a oil cooler. I rebuilt the head and installed new rings, ew rod and crank bearings in 1997. I also purchased a new top but never installed it. I have the original carb, ir cleaner, ir pump, ulp valve and radio. The car went back into storage from 2004-2010. I rebuilt the front end in 2011, o included all new rubber bushings and new spindles. I drove the car from 2011 until Dec 2014. I replaced the fuel pump in Dec of 2014. I last drove the car in Dec 2015 after it sat for 12 months. It started right up and drove 25 miles with no problems.
These pictures were taken a few years ago after my brother buffed the paint. He burned through to the primer in a few spots, ut not down to bare metal.
I'm selling this car because I no longer drive it. I have always tinkered with it with intentions of restoration, ut I just don't have the time, or the desire. My wife has no attachment to the car and my 2 girls like to ride, ut that's challenging with it only having 2 seats. Please let me know if have any questions, ant additional information, r more pictures. Thanks for looking!
