1977 MGB Red Convertible in very good condition. Car runs and drives great. This MGB is ready to be enjoyed this summer and into the fall driving in the mountains. Has been converted from the troublesome original carburetor to a Weber style downdraft 2 barrel which makes it much easier to start and drive. Also has had an exhaust header installed. Car starts right up and drives down the road great. Has almost new tires. Plenty of power.

Previous owner replaced the column mounted key switch with an aftermarket switch mounted in the dash. He also replaced the headlight switch with a modern type push/pull switch. The original key is still used to lock the steering wheel from turning.

Interior is a red leather with no rips or tears. Carpet and door panels are also in good condition. Convertible top is water proof but has had a couple of repairs. Usable as is but would probably need replacement in the future.

Oil and filter were just changed. New clutch slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder just installed. Brakes have not been replaced but are in excellent condition. Previous owner replaced the unreliable Lucas alternator with modern one wire alternator. Also has a new radiator installed. Odometer reads about 18,000 miles but really have no idea if actual mileage. Engine runs strong and has good oil pressure.

Body is very good with about a 2 year old paint job. Check out the "MGB" stripes on the side. Car is located in Spartanburg, South Carolina and appointments can be arranged for a test drive or inspection.
