1967 MGB Solid Driver Clear Title No Reserve

short versionVery nice running solid driver. good brakes. we regularly run 150 to 200 miles in a day with the car club with no problems. No major leaks. New points. plugs. condenser. cap. Rotor. wires. oil change last fall. New leather upholstery on the seats. If you are into the ratrod scene. it's ready to roll. Vin - GHN3L104362. Chassis - MGB 093509. Engine - 18GB-U-H 56718 Long VersionI've owned this car for 10 years and had minimal repairs. Carburetors rebuilt. brakes rebuilt. clutch hydraulics rebuilt. Very tight clutch. It is due for a new valve cover gasket and sould probably set the valves. Does not leak or burn oil. Previous owner had set up for asked SCCA racing. Step one in an in MGB competition manual is to shave the head. Has 160 PSI compression in all four cylinders. It will run on regular gas but is much happier with premium. I often treat it 100 octane aviation fuel which makes it really happy. Rear sway bar added. Heavy front sway bar. Oil cooler. Original rubber floor mats. original carpet. Good tires approximately half tread. Solid wheels. five including spare. Stebro exhaust has many patches. I saved it as a pattern to have a new one built. very nice tone. Rust in the lower leg of the left-hand rear fender and front right-hand fender. Battery relocated to trunk for weight distribution. Convertible top is not in the best condition but it does not have any major holes and could be installed for transportation. I removed it the day I brought it home and it has not been on the car since. It has been updated to an alternator. however. it will come with a new generator and voltage regulator if you would prefer to switch it back to original. I added a wire for the alternator. none of the original wires were cut or modified. Originally was a positive ground vehicle so the generator would have to be re-polarized to positive earth. Original a. m. radio still works however to run on a negative ground would require a transformer to reverse voltage for the radio. Original Jack & lead hammer. Many spares in the trunk including extra throttle cable. original wipers. Tonneau cover. extra voltage regulator. Additional new parts: new front springs. front and rear a arms. fuel sending unit. air filters. oil filters. an extra pair of front hubs.
