This car is originally from CA so is nice and solid and rust free (check out the photos): the gentleman I bought it from in CA owned it for 20 years; he had it garage kept and I have had it garage kept since coming from CA. The wheels (all five) are new, the four tires are like new however the spare tire is a used tire. The battery is new, rear brakes (shoes, springs, wheels cylinders, hose) are new, front pads are new (previous owner had master cylinder and servos rebuilt), like new stainless steel exhaust. The front seats look to have been redone (headrests appear original). It also has a battery disconnect switch mounted on the rear seat riser (visible in the photo). Rear seat belts were added at some point in the past. I installed new two-eared wire wheel knockoffs as I feel they look better than the original hex octagon knockoffs (the original octagon knock-offs are included with the car in case the buyer wants to switch back). It does leak some oil as nearly all british cars tend to do. I have a clear MA title in my name. Given the car is over 45 years old, it is being sold as-is. Being sold for local pickup though the buyer is more than welcome to have it shipped as long as he/she makes the arrangements with the shipping company; funds will have to be transferred and cleared before the car can be picked up; deposit can be via Paypal however wire is preferred for balance. If you are local you are welcome to come see it before bidding. As noted, car is currently located at a storage facility.
I have a spare MGC engine (see last photo) that I picked up just in case given they are so rare. If the car sells for the BIN price, I will include the engine if the buyer wants it. If it's not sold at the BIN price, then the spare engine IS NOT included. Again, spare engine is only included with the BIN price.
This is a really great example of an original CGT ready to drive as is, or if you are so inclined given a full restoration. Personally I like originals so had no intention of restoring it, but that’s just my preference. Please ask any questions beforehand. Thanks and good luck.

I have been asked a few questions about the bonnet damage. It was damaged at some point as can be seen in the bonnet underside photo, I have taken a back side photo that shows more of the issue. I see no damage to the nose of the car itself, so whatever happened appears to have been to the bonnet only. Also, the front shocks (tubular) are not leaking that I am aware of, at least not when I changed the front brake pads last summer. Finally, some or all of the suspension bushings may be dried out given it's a 45+ year old car.

Apparently I can't modify the photos since bids have been made. If you want to see the picture of the backside of the bonnet, send me a message and I can send you the pics. Thanks.
