Description

Great summer ride! Fast, un, nd economical. It's been a very sunny year so far in the Seattle area and you should spend the rest of it riding around in a convertible. Preferably a Swedish one. Here's your chance to turn global warming to your advantage.
This car was Saab's top of the line in 1996; with all the options, t listed for nearly $40,000 new. Good looks, ine handling, ow mileage for its age, peppy turbocharged motor and power everything. This car is a great, conomical way to add a touch of class--and fun--to your life. Current owner has spent the last 2 years giving it lots of TLC: new radiator and hoses; new tires; new mufflers; new battery; gone through the brakes which proved to be fine; sealed up all engine oil leaks, nd shined and waxed it a lot. I've been driving it to work all winter and summer and it's proved to be good transportation as well as fun to drive year round.
The power convertible top is a great feature, llowing you to raise and lower it with no fuss in the middle of a trip. See photo for how the tonneau cover opens automatically to hide the top. It also holds up very well in the rain: not only does it seal well, ut it's well insulated and the car actually stays very warm inside.
Body is in great condition for a car just shy of 20 years old. You'll see from the photos that all the body lines are straight (never wrecked) and the paint still gleams. The two noticeable flaws are that the leather seats are starting to crack, nd there's rust along the bottom edge of the trunk lid where it's not a problem (the inside of the trunk looks brand new). No rust anywhere else. These are very minor flaws for what you're getting. For the expected selling price, his car is great value for your money.

Special offer: winning bidder will also be given the name of a good Saab mechanic in Ballard. This guy does good work and he's also cheap.
