1967 Shelby Mustang GT350

Shelby GT350 #67200F8A01609 3. 25 Shelby GT 350/500's were built in 1967. and of those. 1. 75 were GT350's. This Shelby GT350 was completed on April 14. 1967 and shipped to Brondes Motor Sales in Toledo OH on April 29. 1967. The original purchaser is unknown. I am the 6th owner having purchased the car in 1995. It has been listed in the previous three SAAC registries and been shown at various SAAC national and regional events. This car has been driven and enjoyed. it is not a trailer queen. Mileage showing may not be the original mileage. #1609 underwent a complete restoration in the early 1990's and the original Brittany Blue color was changed to Acapulco Blue with white LeMans stripes by the previous owner. The paint material and workmanship were of exceedingly high quality and still looks great after 25 years. With the exception of the rear quarters (replaced due to fender flares). rear inner wheel wells. and the right hand rear floor panel. the sheet metal and fiberglass on this car appears to be original. The original engine and transmission were long gone when i purchased. It was restored with 302ci service block with HiPo heads/pistons/rods/exhaust manifolds. A re-issued Holley 715cfm carburetor dated 2658 is mounted to an original S2MS high rise intake manifold. The gearbox is a 10 spline heavy duty four speed that decoded as used in a big block Torino Cobra Jet. The rear end is believed to be original with 3:89 ratio. Many of the hard to find parts and pieces used during the restoration were correct Shelby parts provided by Orlando Mustang. the owner of which was also 4th owner of the car. The interior of the car is in good condition with a fold-down rear seat and comfort weave seat covers. dual locking inertial reel harnesses. and under dash gauge pod with original SW oil pressure and amp gauges.
