Hello! I am selling my 1998 Subaru Legacy Outback for $3000 obo. I'll start with the bad. Minimal body rust that may keep if from passing inspection. I'm not a mechanic so I'm not sure. It passed last year with no issues. The belt "squeals" from I believe a tensioner. The surpentine is new so that shouldn't be it. The "coil pack" around $30 new and could be bought used from a wrecking yard. Thus is a very simple and quick fix. Now the "good" I have had this car for a year and have put a lot of money into it. New tires front and back (less than 1000 miles on them) new brake rotors front and back, airley new pads front and rear, ew surpentine belt, ew fuel pump, ew rack and pinion, ew brake lines, he head gaskets were replaced about 15,000 miles ago also with the top end being rebuilt by a professional garage, as tank was dropped to replace gas and brake lines on top of it. That's all I can think of at the moment. Great winter car. I am selling because I would like to get something smaller. Trades are welcome. More pics upon request.
