Tired of being stuck in the snow last winter? Here's your next car. This 2005 Subaru Outback sedan is our second Subaru and one of the few cars in our hilly neighborhood that went through anything last winter could throw at us. And it did it with heated leather seats. heated windshield. a six cylinder boxer engine with sport mode shifting. power moonroof and six disc CD changer. We bought this car 7 years ago with less than 15K miles and ran up another 68K trouble-free on it. Just installed new all season tires less than 100 miles ago but my wife contracted "car fever" and wanted something newer. and as we all know. "a happy wife is a happy life. so our loss is your gain. It just had a Subaru multi-point inspection at Smith-Cairns in Yonkers. the rear wheel bearings were replaced and a complete brake overhaul (pads and rotors) done last year. Regular oil changes. no accidents and a clean Carfax. Everything works as it should. paint is nice and glossy (with the usual bumper parking scuffs). Only flaw is six small spots on the rear trunk lid which we are tiny specs of concrete probably picked up on the highway. The detailer we use said they would leave a mark if removed. so we haven't touched them. and frankly. you wouldn't notice them unless you were really looking. We are selling this for a reserve significantly below Kelly Blue Book. It's a quiet. comfortable. capable (and the sedans are somewhat rare) car and if you win the auction you'll never be stuck next winter.
