Outback Sport. and WRX models have either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. while the STI comes only with a six-speed manual. All Imprezas have all-wheel drive; it powers all four wheels all the time and can transfer more power to the wheels with the best grip. Wagon models have a 60/40-split folding rear seatback for easily expanding the cargo area. while sedans get a trunk pass-through for skis. All Imprezas have front-seat head/chest side air bags standard. along with anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution. and headrests for all three back-seat positions. Base 2. 5 i models come quite well equipped. with air conditioning. cruise control. keyless entry. four-speaker CD sound. and power windows. locks. and mirrors.
