1997 Toyota T100 DLX Extended Cab Pickup 2-Door 3.4L

Up for bid is a 1997 Toyota T-100 DLX Xtracab 2wd pickup with a 3.4L V6 engine and automatic transmission.This is a very nice truck, ith 230,000 miles on it. I've owned it since last December and enjoyed having it, ut I change vehicles frequently so this is ready for a newowner.
I write thorough, escriptive auctions in an effort to represent the item accurately, o please read the description, iew the pictures and watch the videos I will add to the auction.
Mechanical:
This truck runs excellent. The transmission works fine as well and there are no known issues. The engine is not the original. It was replaced last year with a low-mile (~ 100K) engine after the previous owner hit debris with the oil pan and lost all the oil before he could shut it down. There are no unusual noises or fluid consumption.. The timing belt and water pump were serviceable and were not changed.
Exterior:
The exterior is very nice. The top hood and roof were repainted at some point, ikely to correct oxidation as there is no evidence of any bodywork anywhere. It passes the magnet test perfectly. I would characterize the repaint as "adequate". Everything else is original paint and looks great. There is an A.R.E. locking tonneau cover, actory Toyota bedliner, nd a Class III hitch.
This truck has been in the south its entire life and is rust-free. The frame is excellent. None of the rot issues that plague these trucks in other locations.
Interior:
The interior is also very nice. This is a NON-SMOKING truck from day one. There are minor wear areas on the driver door panel and driver floor mat, s well as a small area on the side of the seat bottom. Otherwise all is good. Ice-cold A/C.
This truck was optioned with the S.E.T. (Southeastern Toyota) package, o it has power windows, ower door locks, ruise control, ecurity system, loor mats, oyoguard and VIN etching, s well as Enkei wheels. All the keys, anuals and window sticker are present.
What it needs:
I've driven this truck about 12,000 miles so far so I will describe what it needs to be excellent-
* Windshield is cracked where a rock hit it.
* Driver seat belt will not retract. It made a "spring unwinding" noise one day and that was it.
* Power door locks do not work. This is a common Toyota issue...it probably needs actuators.
* There is a slight valve cover leak. Just enough to catch a whiff now and then.
* Occasional "heat shield" type noise.
In summary, his is a great T-100 that is ready to and will be super nice with a minor amount of TLC.

The title to this truck is CLEAR, nd in my name. Please be advised of 2 facts:
1. Alabama does not denote mileage on vehicle titles if they are over 10 years old. The title will say "exempt" in that area, hich does not mean something wrong with the mileage.
2. Alabama does not issue drive-out tags. You will be responsible for bringing a tag and placing insurance on the truck at your discretion.
