I am selling a 72 Opel GT that I had shipped from California a few years ago. The car is remarkably rust free. except for the belly under the battery where they always seam to rust. the rest of the car is solid. With cars like this you can either buy a good body and save time and money on the body work or spend more money and time on the body. There are a few door dings on the passenger side. and a small dent on the tail section. I was not informed before buying the car that one of the rear suspension mounts had been damaged. nbsp; I will include a replacement. The engine in the car was removed from a running 69 GT two years ago. I am including many spare parts to go with this car. small items like a fan shroud and fuse box cover to a second engine and transmission. If the sale price gets to $5000 I will include a 2. 2L crankshaft and a set of aftermarket forged connecting rods. oversized lightweight pistons and an aluminum flywheel. The car has a set of Michelin tires on it that are almost brand new. Being that this car came from California the body is in better shape than the majority of unrestored cars this far east. I know I have much more money in this than I am asking for but I am going to move and would like to clear out the garage before then.
