This is an original Opel GT with the 1900 Motor and a manual 4 speed . It was sold new in New Jersey and has resided there up till just last year . I have the original dealer key ring and keys showing dealership ( Buick/Opel ) . The car was garaged for most of it's life from first owner and was stored for over a period of about 17 years then stored under a covered carport and sold in 2014 to second owner who did not do much with the car . It looks to have the original tires and are dry rotted but hold air and I have driven it locally feels fine . I have has the brakes all gone over as well as most of the age related issues with a 45 year old car . fuel . nbsp;carburetor . etc. It runs and drives very well . Most everything works properly including the original am radio . All the turn signals . lights . wipers . horn . etc all working for daily driving . The speedometer recently started getting stuck around 20-30 mph but odometer works fine . as does the tachometer . fuel gauge . amp gauge . oil pressure and temp all working . turn signal indicators . headlamps . nbsp;interior night dash illumination and e-brake all work . Interior is very clean . with one small crack on dash and steering wheel is cracking in spots . The body is very clean . paint has been done seems like a panel at a time as it is not congruous in color throughout . Car has original spare and jack . has original locking "opel z " gas cap . Engine runs very smooth and shifts nicely . Underside is all clean and original . only rust is underside of front lower valance where battery leaked acid and made a hole . easily repairable . Also the drivers side upper fender has a small spot maybe an two inches in length ( have picture up close to show both area's ) . This is an honest original little car fun to play with but I no longer have the energy to do so . I made it mechanically sound for next owner to take to next level . My number is 516-467-6890 if you wish to contact me .
