1968 Karmann GhiaNew motor 1835cc. new door and window seals. new paint. new chrome trim. some new glass. new dual carbs. new electronic ignition. rebuilt transaxle. new brakes. new paint and body. some new chrome and seals finished a week ago $7900. new motor run 1 hour $5000. tans axle and brakes and new clutch $2000. car paid $5800. Need to sell. moving soon and don't care about losing money. I just need to get it sold. I will only accept cashiers check or cash. I am happy to help load the car if you arrange a shipper and take his calls etc. to make it easier. I have most of the receipts. the manual. some other random paperwork and books. New battery and fairly clean and nice interior. some of the engine has been chromed. That is the good. now for the items of concern. The brand new engine has a leaking gasket and is under warranty and will be fixed free in oklahoma city at VW works or just have your guy replace it if you live outside Ok or Kansas areas. maybe a couple hundred dollars. Since the engine is new and did the intial one hour break-in the next step is carb tuning. and I have not done that and that i gonna be new owners responsibility. The motor makes 105 HP which the original was 53HP. I am selling no reserve obviously since I must sell the car. The title is clean and clear with no liens. Not sure what else to say because I've only driven the car 5 miles and 1 hour break-in so other than whats listed above you are buying it as-is. A 1968 Ghia with 90% restoration and needing a few other things done to be a diamond.
