1969 Volkswagon Karmann Ghia Resto Mod

This is a 1969 Karmann Ghia resto-mod sporty little car. Built with the reliable 1500cc Volkswagon engine and has added dual carb set-up with custom filters. Good manual tranny with Hurst shifter. Good buckets seats. new welded floor pans and rubber glass seals. The body was restored about ten years ago and all the common standard trim was removed and the body welded smooth for a clean California look. Starts. runs. drives and brakes just fine. Peppy little car with good brakes. Has sharp Porsche 914 aluminum wheels with good billeted aluminum caps. Good tires and spare in front trunk. Paint is nice but has many driving nicks and chips from stones and the like. Newer carpeting and Ghia floor mats. Has new wiring and new fuseboard plus comes with new headliner material and two new padded dashboards in case you want to upgrade. The doors unlock with remove control. Has a bit of bondo cracking along lower panels by wheels and does have some rust under car and in wheel wells. heater channels aren't functional any longer. This is a summer. spring and fall cruiser. Speedo isn't hooked up due to newer 914 wheels but cable is there and functional- rear wheels have a custom adjustable air-ride system.
