It has a 5 speed manual transmission and the very reliable and economical TDI engine. This car runs and drives great and is road worthy. It would make a great project car or just fix it up a little and use for a daily driver. If you wanted to you could part it out. Either way this car has lots of potential. And best of all it is being sold at no reserve. so you set the price. We will describe for you the good the bad and the ugly in that order. The GoodThis car runs great. It starts right up even on cold mornings. There are no warning lights illuminated. The turbo feels strong. The air conditioning blows cold. The sunroof works. All the lights work. The paint is nice and shiny. It has lots of brand new parts including. new tires on the front (after the pictures were taken) and good tires on the back. new brake pads and rotors. new inner and outer tie rod ends. new lower control arms and bushings. new battery. new serpentine belts. fresh oil change. and new thermostat. The BadThe digital odometer display isn't working properly therefore the mileage is indicated as True Miles Unknown. All the rest of the gauges work including the speedometer. We have no idea how many miles the car has on it. The last reported mileage on Autocheck was somewhere in the 80. 00 mile range but that has been a while ago. This car is being sold as "Not Actual Mileage". The other bad things are the drivers side window regulator is broken. the drivers side door latch needs a little help to latch properly. the trunk lock mechanism is broken. the front strut mounts should probably be replaced soon. there is a very slight coolant odor in the cabin when the heat is turned on which makes me think it will probably need a heater core before next winter. The UglyAlthough the paint is overall in pretty good condition. there is some rust on the drivers side front fender and rear quarter panel has a dent in it. The headliner material has all been taken down. the carpet is stained and there is a musty odor due to plugged up sunroof drains which we cleaned out. It is dry inside now. The drivers door interior trim panel is loose. This vehicle is Virginia State Inspected. This is a no reserve auction which means that the high bidder at the end of this auction buys this vehicle.
