2000 Volkswagen Cabrio GLS Convertible 2-Door 2.0L

To be perfectly honest. it pains me to sell this car. It is a so easy to drive and is a great cruising vehicle. It is still running strong. but I can no longer give it the TLC it deserves. I am going to be as transparent as possible. Keep in mind it is a 15 year old car and needs some work. I still drive it locally and to work 85 mi round trip twice a week. I have spent well over 3k in repairs over the past 2 years apart from regular maintenance. THE GOOD: Brand new battery Recent replaced convertible top Timing belt and head gasket cover were done recently 2 new O2 sensors. left front tie rod replaced New rear brakes. shocks. and right rear caliper installed Shifts like butter. It is possible that it is the original clutch. but not 100% sure Comes with car cover Low 30's MPG / over 300 miles to a tank Dashboard has no cracks All interior lights work When holdIng key to open position. all windows open. and close when holding in lock position. Monsoon premium radio works 100%. Tape deck to! ISSUES: The only issues that need to be addressed soon are: REVISED - when getting gas. pump keeps stopping. Must be a sensor. It does take the gas. but takes longer to pump. Also. the left rear caliper mentioned below may have worn the fairly new brake pad/rotor. The winshield molding and seal are missing between the top and windshield. Does leak under visor when raining heavily. Needs new exhaust system. Down pipe rattles. and there is a hole in the muffler. Still drivable. but is a little loud. Left rear wheel bearing needs replacing. Probably can use a tune up. Runs fine except when there is a drastic change in the weather (cold). Tires are about 60%. These other issues are not that big a deal. but some of the things that I should bring to light: ABS light on and temperature light blinks. There are no issues as a result of these. Perhaps a sensor. At some point. front brakes may need to be replaced. A/C needs charge. blower works fine. Headlights and mirrors are oxidized. Cruise control does not work. Left power window sticks on the way up. Sometimes. to get the window to go down. you must hit window up first. All windows are auto down and work 100% Driver seat is ripped. Should be reupholstered. Heated seat only works when you start it at level 5 and takes a while to warm up. Then you can lower the setting. Passenger heated seat does not work at all. Power top motor does not work. top can be manually lowered. Left rear tail light lens cracked. but all lights work. When it is cold out. left rear caliper is sticking. This also causes emergency brake to have less tension. but it still works. Rarely. the 6CD changer doesn't work. Probably just needs a good cleaning. Carpet behind rear seat is falling. Pitted rust spot in left front rocker panel. See attached pictures. Some other very small superficial rust spots. Glove compartment lock broken. Intermittently. right rear blinker does not work. All bulbs have been replaced. Seems to be okay now with warmer weather. Perhaps it is an electrical quirk. There is a watch type battery in the key underneath the button. The button does not open or close locks. But you need it to open vehicle. Serious bidders only please. If local. can bring the car to you within 50 miles.
