1965 Volkswagen Bus - 21 Window VW Bus/Samba

NOT A HACK 13 WINDOW. PANEL. KOMBI etc. IT DOES HAVE ORIGINAL BELLY PANS THAT ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. Please educate yourself on the difference. ***I will NOT reveal my reserve price. this is an auction. ***Yes the bus runs and drives. I would drive it anywhere! Could it break down? Yes. and so could every other vehicle out there. Overall this bus is in good condition. I put all new window seals as well as new pop-out window frames (this bus originally only came with 2 pop-outs. not too common as most buses had the 6 pop-out window option) but it retains all of the original glass except the front windows as I added Safari windows from Wolfgang Int'l. The Safari window tabs were professionally welded in however they still need to be painted. Seats include front. FULL MIDDLE and rear. The rear has original salt/pepper material and is in excellent shape as is the kick panel below the seat. The front and middle seats are usable but not have matching salt/pepper material like the rear. The middle floor is essentially brand new! Take a look at the pics!The bus has a primer spray over original paint. I started to remove the primer a few years ago but decided I don't have the patience to strip the entire bus so I put primer back on the spot. As you can see the bumpers are there with the US spec over-riders. The rear bumper has a hitch for towing light trailers. The bus also comes with an original roof rack and clamps as well as a custom drink/phone holder. I've added a power outlet/cig lighter and made it look like a factory install. The tires are awesome and have less than 500 miles on them. The engine is a 1776 w/40 IDFs. I have a 010 distributor that will go with the bus in the sale as well as all of my other odds/ends VW stash. which is quite a bit and will be a nice surprise to the buyer. The mileage posted in not accurate. All lights. speedometer and turn signals work great! It has some rust on the front floor and battery tray area. but no so bad it can't be driven. I've driven it for 12 years like it is and I do have a new front right floor piece and new battery tray that will go with the bus. It doesn't have a headliner but the sunroof is in great condition and works great! This also shows the bus is a REAL 21 window! The bus is not a showroom rotisserie restoration and will need some work to get it to that point. but it's years and dollars ahead of most REAL 21 Windows out there.
