1967 VW Split Window Vintage Drag Car Race Bus Van Chopped Hot Custom Rat Rod

1967 VW Vintage Drag Race Bus. Own a piece of VW Drag Racing History. This bus was racedprimarily on the East Coast. Complete with early BUG-IN plaques. Bus was chopped, hortened and has a custom race chassis with Drivers seat and roll bar set midway. Early Gene Berg and other brand race components . High Performance engine with dual carbs. Bus was purchased from the PO who raced it back in the day. PO advised that it ran when he parked it years ago. Engine turns with no excessive endplaynoticeable. Bus could use partial metal on roof. I was going to cut out rusted area and install a large aftermarket ragtop. The rest of bus is pretty solid as pictured. I bought it and stored it in garage.Don't know anything else about it, ncluding the engine size or engine andtransmission modifications. Bus needsmaster cylinder (set up for Toyota brand), heelie Bars are missing, olls and Steers, lexi windows are clouded and could use replaced. No Title, ill of Sale only.
