1973 VW Ghia

Selling my 1973 Ghia. It was a California daily driver for me until 2007 when I got married and upgraded. It has always been garage kept since I bought it in 2000. Hard to fit a family of four into it...so I'm moving on.
Runs great. Just had the local VW shop go through it with a clean bill of health. Stock dual port engine with new heads. Of course it leaks a little oil...
Has newer Ferrari red paint (sprayed in 2005), ut needs touch ups in areas with normal wear and tear. Nose was punched, ut reshaped by a crazy german mechanic with a blow torch and a hammer. Looks original.
No rust. Needs a little TLC on the interior as it is mostly original and looking it's age. Carpet is in good shape. Missing drivers side window seal on the top of the door frame ($80 at West Coast Metric).Couldusenew door cards and seat covers. I've seen an interior kit for$500 from jbugs that haseverything you would need.
Has a Rockford Fosgate stereo system installed... amp, ub, weeters, id range, x9's. 6x9's not installed but come with the car. I disconnected it from the battery when I stored it in 2009, ut was working then.
Looking for a '78 or '79 Westfalia. Will consider trades with cash for a decent one. Will help with shipping. Reserve is a fair price given it's condition. I'm not looking to get rich off the sale.
