1981 Volkswagen Dasher Wagon Diesel 4-speed Manual 78k miles 45mpg NO RUST MK1

You are looking at an Excellent example of an ULTRA rare 1981 Volkswagen Dasher Diesel. They built more Jettas, nd hundreds of thousands of Rabbits, ut to find a 4-door MK1 Dasher Wagon is unobtainium. I've personally never seen another one in person. This car has absolutely No Rust, lways garaged in the winter, ever seen salt. 1.6 liter diesel engine, -speed manual gets 45mpg on the highway. It has a million-mile odometer and only shows 78,683 on the clock! It runs excellent, nd will for decades to come. Timing belt recently done, nd car has a new battery. Heater fan doesn't blow (switch or fuse?), Speedometer always works, ut odometer has been intermittent lately. I took it apart, nd tightened up a set-screw, ut it's worked its way loose again, o the car might actually have 79,000 miles on it by now, but it's not a big deal. This is a great, ard-to-find vehicle. I don't want to get rid of it, ut I have a whole yard full of rare diesel vehicles, nd can't keep 'em all. This thing has air conditioning (needs to be charged) that is a rare option on a Volkswagen of this vintage! The factory clock in the dash still works, nd keeps good time. It has the original, actory paint. Nice, omfy pleated seats inside, ne rip in the headliner in the rear (sewn up pretty well though), ight steering, xcellent alignment, rakes work well, uiet engine, mooth shifting transmission with lots of miles left on the clutch. Tires are brand new (less than 50 miles on them). I've also got a set of 17 inch wheels with low-profile tires that look good on the car if the buyer is interested in them. This car is an absolute cream-puff, nd a time-capsule! You'll love it! I've got a good, lear title in my name for the car. I would trust it to drive anywhere in the country on a moment's notice.
